“Express Your Hispanic Culture” on a Kleenex box?
Let’s ignore the fact that I don’t love the word “Hispanic,” and would feel a lot better about this if it was about expressing “Latinidad.” In general, something about this rubs me the wrong way. Maybe I’m just hyper-sensitive though — which wouldn’t be in line with this:
The Mintel survey also suggests that Hispanic and black respondents are less interested in tissue softness than others. “Availability and lower incomes may have forced these respondents to have more experience with low-quality tissues and enabled them to realize that store-brand tissues are often ‘good enough,'” says Mintel.
If the word “moco” doesn’t appear on a box, I’m going to be angry.
